Follow the following steps to rectify Cowin vaccine certificate correction:
1: Go to the official website of Cowin, i.e., www.cowin.gov.in.
2: Click sign-in on the top right cornor.
3: Enter your registered mobile number and click Get OTP.
4: After enter OTP, click Verify & Proceed, a new page will open.
5: On the next page, you have to click “Raise an issue.”
6: After clicking on raise an issue, select “correction in my certificate regarding Name / Age / Gender / Photo ID.”
7: A new screen will open, where you have to choose the option of what you want to change or correct, such as Name, Year of Birth, Gender, or Photo ID.
Suppose you want to change the birth year, select “CHANGE” under the year of birth and enter the correct year of birth. After entering information, hit continue and submit the details.
Changes in vaccination certificates can take upto 24 Hours. Therefore, you have to wait atleast 24 hours.
Note: Vaccine certificate can only be changed only one time. All changes are permanent.
